If you feel so inclined to help, there are many different routes that you can take. Here is a brief list of organizations that are taking donations online.
You can also help from your cell phone by texting:
“HAITI” to 90999, a $10 charge (donation) will be added to your cell phone bill.
“YELE” to 501501, a $5 charge (donation) will be added to your cell phone bill.
And in case you have not been able to see any coverage of the quake, here is a brief clip. Chris and I don’t have much, but I plan to give just a little something. In the greater scheme of things, a little bit goes a long way.

I cannot agree with you more about this. Yes, times are hard, but everylittle bit goes a long way. Again, here goes the US military. We are stretched so far, but as usual our soldiers will be on their way. Pray for the soldiers and their families also. There is a lot of stress upon the soldiers and their families, and they also need our prayers as they embark on their journey to help this country.
thanks for posting this. Agreed that we don’t have much, but I will do something. Thanks for adding the links. Oh, and Pat Robertson’s an idiot.
Well said Dawana. I don’t have much either. But, we managed to donate. Every little bit does help. People in Haiti live off of $2 a day.
