OMG that is awesome!! Do you add a filling or anything? I am thinking maybe you took it out too early or too late but maybe too much batter and it was suppose to be TWO 8″ rounds? LOL

Perhaps you needed two pans in which to back. Or, depending on the temperature/humidity you may need to lower the baking temp and extend the baking time. I’m no expert, I just play one at home.
