Pee Where You Please

So, baby girl knows that the potty is for wee-wee. She knows that. She usually enjoys sitting on her potty with a good book, a snack or a toy. (As you’ll see below)

I let her pee wherever the mood strikes. She likes to move her potty from room-to-room. I don’t know if I’m following potty training rules here, but I don’t see how it matters. I let her pee wherever she pleases.

She also knows that if she goes wee-wee in her potty, she’ll get a snack. So a lot of the times, she’ll try to bamboozle me into giving her a snack by sitting on the potty, proclaiming she’s done, then going for the snack jar. Uhh no.

To which I usually say something like- there’s no pee this time, maybe next time. (And I know I probably shouldn’t use the terms pee and wee-wee interchangeably as I am probably confusing the living daylights out of my child- that’s a mommy #fail).

So, this is potty try #2 for the day, it was still early. I usually start when we wake up right up until just before bedtime…

Disclosure: Pull-Ups® training pants provided me with a Flip cam and product coupons to try out the new iGo Potty iPhone app and document my experience, as well as conduct a reader giveaway with a $50 visa gift card and product coupons. However, my opinions on the product are entirely my own and I have not been paid to publish positive sentiments towards Pull-Ups® or their products.
