I let her pee wherever the mood strikes. She likes to move her potty from room-to-room. I don’t know if I’m following potty training rules here, but I don’t see how it matters. I let her pee wherever she pleases.
She also knows that if she goes wee-wee in her potty, she’ll get a snack. So a lot of the times, she’ll try to bamboozle me into giving her a snack by sitting on the potty, proclaiming she’s done, then going for the snack jar. Uhh no.
To which I usually say something like- there’s no pee this time, maybe next time. (And I know I probably shouldn’t use the terms pee and wee-wee interchangeably as I am probably confusing the living daylights out of my child- that’s a mommy #fail).
So, this is potty try #2 for the day, it was still early. I usually start when we wake up right up until just before bedtime…

I let Matt pee whenever he felt the need and pretty much anywhere (if we were outsie or whatever) until…we went on the 3rd grade class field trip and he whips it out and pees in front of everyone at the picnic. That’s my boy!
BWAHAHAHA That is classic!
I know it’s totally frustrating, but I think it’s so cute that she totally wants a treat from sitting on the potty. I would SOOO try that too
