Last week I went to Sally’s and The Pea broke a bottle of nail polish (of course) sending hot pink nail polish everywhere in their store.
I was mortified. So, I bought a bottle, even though they told me I didn’t have to.
The little bugger wouldn’t stay still in the store and kept breaking free of my (not-so) death grip hand hold.
I was able to convince her to allow Mommy to put pretty paint on her toes, but not before I painted my thumb to ensure her that the nail polish was not going to cause harm or death. After she saw that my finger didn’t fall off, she let me paint her toes with the nail polish. (I’ve tried to paint her toe nails before and she was deathly afraid of the polish)
Yay! Her first pedicure!!!
Well, sort of- there was some polish on the skin since she couldn’t keep her feet still, but after, she basked in the glory of her “pyiyee toes” (pretty toes).

LOL Long feet, long legs- girl this child is tall. She’s wearing a 6.5 toddler shoe size right now.
She is darling! My husband paints our daughters toes (when they beg him). I don’t have the patience. Plus, they say he does a better job.

Oh well, is this the start of something new and more to come. Thank God you do not wear make up. Polish is cute and she wants to explore. I used to paint your toes, and your sister you and I used to all go get our nails and pedicure done, but you are no longer a nail polish type of girl. What happened?
