Wordless Wednesday: Sledding

So I’ve never been sledding. Ever.

Yes, I went to school in Vermont.

No, I don’t know how this has happened ever.

So, in Omaha, Nebraska in the freezing cold my husband decided that we should fix this problem.

I was terrified.

Enjoy.

Damn that sled that we hit and the kids that left it there for so long. Also? Damn the bump we hit on the way down. I hurt my butt! Lucky for you you can’t hear me because there were many expletives said on the way down!

  • When I lived out in Vail, I used to BEG my friend Nancy (who’s African American) in Chicago to come and visit me but she never would. One time when I was visiting, I asked her again and she looked at me, hand on her hips and said to me “Girl. How many black people have you ever seen on those slopes? None. Because black people are smarter than white people and are sitting inside drinking by the fire while you freeze your ass off to race down a frozen hill”. It was one of the funniest things ever said to me but apparently, Nancy was wrong because you just did exactly that ;)

That was funny. Love the person who took the shot.
