I am married to the ever-indecisive, football coach extraordinaire/love of my life Daddy C. Our relationship pre-marriage was nothing short of a whirlwind. We met in August, started dating in September, were engaged in January and really- the rest is ancient history. We have an amazing baby girl named Cadence (aka Baby C) who was born in January of 2009 and a 4-year-old Boxer that gets on my freaking nerves almost every second of the day. We love him very much.
I used to have a pretty sweet teaching job. It was the right school and the right grade and (for the most part)all the right people. My husband- not so lucky in his endeavors. Until he found what seemed like the perfect job and it only made sense that we all pack up and move away from Florida to “glamorous” California. It hasn’t been as glamorous as we expected, but we are making the best of it.
Our faith in God is really what helps my husband and I make it through each day. Christ comes first in all that we do. Christ first, family second. That’s our family rule.
Being a Stay-At-Home Mom has probably been the hardest thing that I’ve ever had to do and I’m really just pretending to make it all work. Our daughter runs my life and that’s really all there is to it.

Other Random Things You Were Dying To Know
Or Not…
- I get super nervous when I drive under an overpass- every time, doesn’t matter how many times I do it. My heart always skips a beat.
- I have a love of even numbers. Odd numbers just won’t do.
- I have a preference for red candy. Red M&M’s, Red Starbursts, Red Skittles, Red Now & Laters, Red Lollipops.
Yup, I’m a colorist and I am prejudiced against other candy colors.
- When I’m really, really mad- I clean.
- I do not eat egg yolk. And it is not for health reasons- I think egg yolk tastes horrible! I fry my eggs white only and when I boil an egg, I throw the yolk away. I’ll only eat egg yolk if it is mixed in for some sort of recipe.
- I think cursive is the stupidest thing we were ever made to learn in school as I only use it when signing my name on something like a receipt or check… just sayin’.
